Dentists

Dr. Chris Cannon is a native of Bettendorf, Iowa and has been with Dentistry Unlimited as a Pediatric Dentist since he took over his fathers practice in 1991. He graduated with honors from Northwestern University Dental School in 1988 and received his Pediatric Dentistry Certification from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1990. He has taught at Harvard, Tufts, and the University of Iowa Dental School.

Dr. Chris is currently a member of the surgical team at Genesis Hospital in Davenport, Iowa as a Pediatric Dentist, and participates in the following dental organizations; Davenport District Dental Society, Scott County Dental Society, Iowa Dental Association, Iowa Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Project Stretch. He travels extensively to 3rd world countries particularly the San Juan Rio Region of Nicaragua to deliver dental care to children in need. He is on the Board of Directors for the San Juan Rio Relief which is a program dedicated to providing free health care to impoverished children in 3rd world countries and contributes annually in the Give Kids a Smile program by providing free dentistry through Head Start for underprivileged children locally.

Dr. Chris Cannon and his wife Chantel have six children, Nick, Isabella, Tavien, Tylen, Cameron and Avery. When not busy working in his busy practice he enjoys adventure travel, reading, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Matthew Cannon is also a native of Bettendorf, Iowa, and has been with Dentistry Unlimited as a Pediatric Dentist since 1996. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1994 and completed his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Marquette University in 1996.

Dr. Matt is currently a member of the surgical team at Genesis Hospital in Davenport, Iowa as a Pediatric Dentist, and participates in the following dental organizations: Scott County Dental Society, Illinois Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He also participates annually with his brother Dr. Chris in the Give Kids a Smile program which provides free dentistry through Head Start for underprivileged children.

Dr. Matt Cannon, his wife Tiphanie, and their three children Claire, Jack, and Daisy currently live in Bettendorf, Iowa. When not busy practicing dentistry he enjoys spending time with his family, playing in a band, and landscaping his yard.

Dr. J. Michael Bauswell graduated from the University of Iowa in 1990 and has been practicing dentistry in Bettendorf, Iowa ever since. He is currently a member of the following dental organizations: Davenport District Dental Society, Scott County Dental Society, Iowa Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Bauswell and his wife Barbara live in Davenport, Iowa. When not working he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially biking, hiking, fishing and golfing.

Dr. Joel Teagarden graduated from the University of Iowa in 1976. After dental school, he served as a dental instructor at Broadlawns Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa until 1983. He has been practicing dentistry in Bettendorf, Iowa since 1985.

He is a native of Boone, Iowa but currently resides in Bettendorf, Iowa with his children Austin, Logan, and Chloe.  When not busy with his dental practice Dr. Teagarden loves to spend time with his family, go fishing, golf, and play tennis.

Dr. Stephen TouVelle is a native of Bettendorf, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa with his Doctorate of Dental Science in 1978.

Dr. TouVelle is currently a member of the following dental organizations: Davenport District Dental Society, Scott County Dental Society, Iowa Dental Association, Chicago Dental Association, and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. TouVelle resides in Bettendorf, Iowa. He and his wife Terese have four children; Melissa, Carrie, Anthony, and Grace. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in church and community activities.
